Hello. yeah,like i said earlier,you have to open up the comp and unplug the ide cable from the dvdrw.then plug the ide cable from the hd into the dvdrw.if you dont know how to do this then you will need a detailed explaination.but if the drives are now working properly then there should be no reason to do this.im not saying that it is the cause of your problems.but if you are experiencing unexplained problems that cant be fixed by normal means then that might be a possible and very unique solution.
